Rancho Mirage, CA

Today, Friday January 7th, In-N-Out’s newest location in Rancho Mirage will be open for business.

Located at 42560 Bob Hope Drive right off highway 111, In-N-Out will be serving up customer’s favorite hamburger, fries, and shakes with fresh ingredients, 100% American beef and whole chuck patties that are “boned and ground by In-N-Out’s own butchers.”

“All patties are produced and delivered fresh throughout the week to the stores and are never frozen. French fries are made from fresh, whole potatoes and are hand diced.”

In and Out started in 1948 as California’s first “drive-thru” hamburger stand. This location marks the fourth location in the Coachella Valley with other locations in La Quinta, Indio, and Thousand Palms. In addition to California, there are now locations in Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Colorado.

The new location did not come without controversy. Residents opposed to the project asked the Rancho Mirage City Council to vote the new location down citing concerns of increased traffic, noise, air quality degradation from idling cars, and potential crime.

In the end, the Rancho Mirage City Council approved the new location by a vote of 4-0.

In-N-Out will be open from 10:30am to 1:00am Sunday through Thursday and 10:30am to 1:30am Friday and Saturday.
