Chris Rock will be performing live this Friday, April 9th at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio after he was slapped onstage at the Academy Awards by Will Smith in an event that was seen around the world.

Dubbed, the Chris Rock Ego Death World Tour, 2022, it is unknown if the comedian will address the events that occurred at the Oscars.

At his first show in Boston after the incident, the comedian who received a standing ovation from the crowd, briefly addressed his thoughts on the matter. He said:

“How was your weekend?” “I don’t have a bunch of s— about what happened,” “I had like a whole show I wrote before this weekend. I’m still kinda processing what happened. So at some point, I’ll talk about that s–.”

If Rock addresses the matter, it may be difficult to view what happens. The Fantasy Springs Resort Casino’s policy on cellphones states, “Please note: No cellphones, smart watches, cameras or recording devices will be allowed at Chris Rock. Upon arrival, all phones and smart watches will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show… Anyone caught will a cellphone in the venue will be immediately ejected. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.”
