(Drift Palm Springs facing Indian Canyon Dr)

Palm Springs, CA

Drift Palm Springs formally dubbed the Bode Hotel will be opening Early 2023 in the heart of downtown Palm Springs a block from Arenas Road.

The hotel is joining TMC Hospitality’s brand in partnership with o2 Architecture and Folklor.

The complete buildout will feature a 30-key boutique hotel with featured forms and colors reflective of the Californian desert and the brand’s Baja roots. The property couples Spanish Colonial and Moorish Desert architecture with organic interior accents and Mexican artisanal décor. Raw materials including steel, Italian brick and cedar wood create an industrial and modern aesthetic, a clean palette to allow the eye to explore the handpicked design elements by Californian and Mexican artists.

The hotel will be home to Maleza, an upscale Baja-inspired restaurant in partnership with Jorge Espindola and Cesar Pita of San Jose del Cabo-based Roots and Roads. Here, groups can enjoy Drift wines, beers and mezcals in collaboration with Miller Family VineyardsLa Luna Mezcal and Baja Brewing.

In anticipation of locals and guests gathering together, Drift is adding an open air event space, set for supper clubs and mezcal tastings, surrounded by a wall of cacti for added privacy. For a more intimate gathering, guests can prepare meals in-room, sourcing products from the Drift Pantry, a curated in-room marketplace stocked with locally sourced items, as well as an ample wine and beer selection.

Drift Palm Springs is TMC Hospitality’s third hotel under the Drift moniker, a design-forward brand geared towards the chic adventurer.
