Palm Springs, CA

On Tuesday, December 27th, at approximately 5:19 PM, PSPD Dispatch reported a collision involving a vehicle and bicyclist near the intersection of E. Ramon Rd. and S. El Cielo Rd.

Officers arrived to the scene and found the bicyclist unresponsive. EMS Personnel arrived and transported the bicyclist to a local hospital with major injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Currently drugs and/or alcohol do not appear to a factor.

The roadway will remain closed while the PSPD Traffic Team continues their investigation.
