Palm Springs, CA

You may have noticed construction at 421 S Calle Encilia, situated between Ramon Rd and Arenas Rd in Downtown Palm Springs.

The Blackhaus Hotel being constructed is a one-story 20 room hotel project containing four, 1,655 square foot buildings, each containing 5 rooms.

According to the developer, Ancorian, the Blackhaus is a “limited service hybrid hotel built around a central pool area; with the ability to combine up to 5 rooms into a single bungalow,” making the experience feel more like an Airbnb than a hotel. There is no central lobby, and guests will check in and out online.

The Blackhaus Hotel is just one of many hotels slated for Palm Springs. Other hotel projects in the works include the Bode Hotel, the Thompson Hotel (formerly Andaz), and the Orchid Tree Hotel
