Palm Springs, CA

The Desert Art Center, in partnership with the Palm Springs Unified School District, presents The High School Student Art Exhibit from May 26-28, 2023. The exhibit will be open during gallery hours, 10am-4pm at 550 North Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs. A reception at the gallery is planned for Friday, May 26 from 5-7 PM.

DAC will be awarding grants to each of the six high school art departments within the PSUSD, based on a portfolio of students’ art work. DAC will be awarding approximately $10,000 in grants.

Students will be awarded first, second, third, and honorable mention in several categories. First place winners will be given the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in our main gallery for one year.

The Desert Art Center’s mission is to stimulate, educate, and nurture creativity in the Coachella Valley community through the collaborative effort of membership programs, art education, and gallery space for emerging and established artists.
