Veteran Gallerist/Curator, James Bacchi promises to cleverly contemporize Modernism’s break with the past and its simultaneous search for new forms of artistic expression. NEO-MODERNISM, his debut presentation for the Fall Edition of the PALM SPRINGS MODERNISM SHOW previews a smart nod to the Movement, complete with great respect, extremely good taste and Bacchi’s subtle sense of humor.

Integrating a collection of contemporary works by Master Printmakers, Carrie Ann Plank, Fernando Reyes and Eric Rewitzer, with red hot Resin Artists, Lucky Rapp and LOLA, and Encaustic Queen, Jhina Alvarado is commendable. Together, with selected works by the JAMES BACCHI CONTEMPORARY noteworthy roster of painters including Bill Bloomfield, Carolyn Meyer, Marc Lambrechts, Jay Samit and Serena Bocchino and selected furnishings by SCOUT PALM SPRINGS, Bacchi offers an inspiring glimpse of the future of Neo-Modernism.

JAMES BACCHI CONTEMPORAY is joined by an impressive roster of exhibitors including Atomic Ranch, Route 66, Blue Heron Gallery, High Karat, Modfire and Palm Springs Life Magazine, to mention a few, for the PALM SPRINGS MODERNISM Fall Show, previewing Friday evening, October 20. The Show continues Saturday and Sunday, October 21-22, 2023 at the Palm Springs Convention Center.
