Palm Springs, CA
On December 1, 2024, at approximately 8:10 PM, Palm Springs Police Officers responded to a reported vehicle-pedestrian traffic collision near the intersection of E. Vista Chino and Volturno Road.
Upon arrival, officers located a 72-year-old male who was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other vehicle’s driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be a factor at this time. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of the next of kin by the Riverside County Coroner’s Office.
