Palm Springs Aerial Tramway Honors U.S. Military with Free Admission in July

Palm Springs, CA

In a tribute to the nation’s armed forces, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is once again hosting “Military Days” throughout the month of July. All active-duty, former, and retired U.S. military personnel will receive free tram admission with valid military ID, along with a special commemorative gift.

This annual tradition of appreciation also extends to spouses of deployed service members and military widows and widowers. Additionally, military guests may bring up to four friends or family members, who will receive a 25% discount on regular Tram admission.

Visitors can expect a full day of mountain adventures and scenic beauty upon arrival at the Mountain Station, located at an elevation of 8,516 feet in the Mount San Jacinto State Park. Highlights include:

Opened in 1963, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway remains the world’s largest rotating tram car. Each 80-passenger car takes visitors on a ten-minute journey along the sheer cliffs of Chino Canyon, ascending from the Valley Station at 2,643 feet to the Mountain Station high above.

“Military Days” exemplifies the Tramway’s ongoing commitment to honoring those who serve. For more information or to plan your visit, call 888-515-TRAM or 760-325-1391, or go to www.pstramway.com. A free mobile tour is also available on the App Store and Google Play.
