Palm Springs, CA
Downtown Palm Springs has a new destination for coffee lovers with the opening of Coffeeism Co., a family-run café blending Scandinavian design with precision brewing. Located at 110 E. Tahquitz Canyon Way, the shop officially opens full-time this week after a successful soft launch over the weekend.
Founded by Guillaume, Melissa, and Bodhi, Coffeeism Co. reflects decades of hospitality experience, a passion for travel, and a commitment to detail. “We didn’t just open a coffee shop,” the owners shared. “We built a place we wanted to exist.”
Inside, the café’s Scandinavian-minimalist bar features concrete accents, light wood, and clean lines that create a serene backdrop for the buzz of espresso and the aroma of fresh pastries. Intelligentsia espresso anchors the menu, alongside a rotating single-origin drip program and seasonal iced creations “that feel like the desert in a glass.”
Guests will also find shelves stocked with French macarons, Italian pastries, cold-pressed juices, curated retail, and playful branded merchandise. On the walls, a “muse” serves as a reminder that coffee, here, is both ritual and art.
Coffeeism Co. invites patrons to experience Palm Springs in their own way—whether sipping a cortado at the window counter, people-watching from the patio, or engaging in conversation with the baristas about beans, travel, or croissants.
“Every choice is deliberate,” the team explained, noting that even the drink sizes reflect their philosophy: medium and large only, never small.
The soft opening drew visitors from across the Coachella Valley, with the team expressing gratitude for the turnout. “The energy from this community gave us the best possible start,” they wrote on social media. “From Coachella to Thermal, Indio, Palm Desert, Desert Hot Springs, and of course Palm Springs, we felt the love from the entire valley.”
Coffeeism Co. is now open daily from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering locals and visitors alike a new space to sip slow, hustle hard, and stay caffeinated.
