Melvyn’s at The Ingleside Estate Celebrates 50 Years with “Dining Through the Decades” Series

Palm Springs, CA

Starting this past week one of Palm Springs’ most legendary dining destinations is raising a glass to five decades of glamour. Melvyn’s at The Ingleside Estate, the iconic restaurant once favored by Hollywood greats like Marlon Brando, Frank Sinatra, Marilyn Monroe, and Elizabeth Taylor, is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a special Dining Through the Decades series running October 6 through November 7.

Blending timeless elegance with a California twist on classic American fare, Melvyn’s invites guests to step back in time with a rotating prix fixe menu inspired by each era of its storied history. From steakhouse classics to theatrical tableside desserts, each week will showcase the flavors and traditions that defined dining in Palm Springs across the decades.

A Culinary Journey Through the Years

More Than a Restaurant: A Palm Springs Landmark

Last night, Melvyn’s hosted members of the community for the Palm Springs Food & Wine Festival, offering a lively cooking demonstration that gave guests a taste of the series ahead.

Melvyn’s is part of The Ingleside Estate, a historic Spanish Revival property that began as an intimate, invitation-only retreat for old Hollywood’s inner circle. Today, this adults-only (18+) oasis continues to embody the sun-soaked glow of timeless glamour, just steps from Downtown Palm Springs.

A Toast to Timeless Glamour

For longtime patrons and first-time guests alike, Dining Through the Decades is a tribute to Melvyn’s legacy as a cornerstone of Palm Springs’ culinary and cultural history. Reservations are strongly encouraged to ensure a seat at the table for this once-in-a-lifetime dining experience.
