Palm Springs, CA
Palm Springs’ popular VillageFest is welcoming spring with a refreshed lineup of themed events designed to capture the energy of festival season across the Coachella Valley.
Organizers announced a series of special Thursday night celebrations throughout April, bringing new experiences to the long-running downtown street fair while maintaining its signature mix of local vendors, food, and entertainment.
The seasonal programming begins April 2 with an “Easter Celebration” night, featuring photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny along with arts and crafts activities for attendees of all ages.
On April 9, VillageFest will host “Festival Season” night, inspired by the region’s internationally recognized music festivals. The evening will highlight the art, music, and culture that define Palm Springs during this time of year.
The spring series concludes April 30 with a “May the 4th Be With You” themed night, offering Star Wars-inspired activities aimed at families and fans.
“We want every Thursday night this spring to feel like a celebration of what makes our City special,” said Palm Springs Mayor Naomi Soto. “VillageFest is about creating a space where people can connect and experience the electric energy of our community.”
Nicholas Gonzalez, Director of Parks and Recreation, emphasized the event’s role in bringing people together while supporting local businesses.
“VillageFest offers a unique experience for every resident and visitor this spring,” Gonzalez said. “It’s about bringing everyone together to connect as a community, support local vendors and enjoy the electrifying atmosphere that Palm Springs provides this time of year.”
Held weekly in downtown Palm Springs, VillageFest has been a staple of the city for more than 30 years. The event features artisan goods, fresh produce, gourmet food, and live entertainment, attracting both residents and visitors.
