Desert’s LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce Announces 2026 Impact Award Recipients

The Desert Business Association (DBA), the Coachella Valley’s LGBTQ+ chamber of commerce, has announced the recipients of its 2026 DBA Impact Awards, recognizing outstanding business and community leaders who have made meaningful contributions to the region.

The honorees will be celebrated at the DBA Impact Awards ceremony on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at the Palm Springs Convention Center.

In addition, DBA will recognize LGBTQ+ youth scholarship recipients through its partnership with Safe Schools Desert Cities.

Recipients were nominated by members of the community and selected for their leadership, service, and commitment to strengthening the LGBTQ+ and allied communities throughout the Coachella Valley.

“Each of these recipients has made a lasting impact on our community,” said David Powell, DBA Executive Director. “From supporting local nonprofits and youth, to preserving our history and promoting inclusion, they represent the very best of what our valley stands for.”

The event will also feature a special performance by local vocalist Marisa Corvo, known for her appearance on NBC’s The Voice and her ongoing support of community organizations.
