The Los Angeles Lakers will kick off their 2024-25 preseason at Acrisure Arena as part of the second annual Desert Duel presented by Spotlight 29 Casino, in a matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday, October 4, followed by a game against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday, October 6 at 6:30 p.m.

These games continue the Lakers’ rekindled tradition of playing in the Coachella Valley, including a sold out match last October against the Phoenix Suns at Acrisure Arena.

The Desert Duel at Acrisure Arena is presented by Spotlight 29 Casino, a premier entertainment destination in Greater Palm Springs. This event promises to bring high-energy basketball and unforgettable moments to fans in the Coachella Valley.
