Palm Springs, CA

Local Coachella Valley residents now have a new opportunity to explore and enjoy Palm Springs’ unique and vibrant local business community while stretching their shopping dollars thanks to a new city-wide digital gift card program called “Love Local Palm Springs.”

The limited-time program, which allows consumers to support participating local businesses using the program’s gift card is underway now. Cards are universally redeemable across more than 50 participating Palm Springs businesses ranging from restaurants and coffee shops to bookstores, bakeries, hotels, theaters, spas, and more.

The new digital program allows consumers to buy gift cards in denominations of $25 up to $200 maximum, per person. The City of Palm Springs will contribute an additional 50 percent of the card’s value, while funding lasts. For example, a $100 card would be worth $150 in local spending power at participating businesses. Consumers must use the City bonus portion of the card by Sept. 30, 2024.

“The Love Local Palm Springs gift card program is a great new way to explore the vibrant Palm Springs destination and support our ultra-cool local businesses,” said Mayor Jeffrey Bernstein. “In Palm Springs, there truly is something for everyone!”

Any local business interested in participating in the program should reach out to Dean.Grubl@palmspringsca.gov with City’s Economic Development Department. All types of local businesses are invited to participate.

Residents can begin purchasing gift cards and reviewing participating businesses now at LoveLocalPS.com.
