Palm Springs, CA

On October 14, 2024, at approximately 8:18 p.m., Palm Springs officers responded to a traffic collision at the intersection of East Palm Canyon Drive and Golf Club Drive involving a vehicle and a motorcycle. Upon arrival, officers located a motorcyclist lying in the roadway with significant injuries. Despite life-saving efforts by the Palm Springs Fire Department, the motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the collision. The Palm Springs Police Department is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
