The Magic of Lights returns to the Empire Polo Club, bringing a vibrant drive-through holiday light display to the Coachella Valley. This festive event kicks off on November 19 and runs through December 29, promising to be a highlight of the holiday season.

Guests will have the opportunity to capture special moments with a photo op featuring Santa Claus in the Holly Jolly Village. Families can take free festive selfies with Santa, creating lasting memories. Additionally, the event will introduce MagicVision Selfie Filters, allowing visitors to transform their photos into festive holiday-themed images, perfect for sharing.

Produced by Family Entertainment Holdings, LLC, this year marks the third annual return of Magic of Lights. The event will feature an array of displays, including digital animations and festive favorites, all crafted with millions of individual LED lights. Ken Hudgens, CEO of Family Entertainment Holdings, expressed enthusiasm for the event, stating, “Magic of Lights has become a part of the Coachella Valley annual holiday tradition, and we are excited to bring this holiday wonderland back for guests of all ages.”

New for 2024, attendees can purchase an unlimited Magic of Lights Season Pass at a discounted rate. The event will also feature themed promotional nights, offering at-gate ticket discounts throughout the week:

  • Monday: Veteran and First Responder Night
  • Tuesday: Taco Tuesday—show your favorite hot sauce for a discount + Double Drive-Thru
  • Wednesday: Santa Paws and PJs—come in your coziest pajamas with your furry friend
  • Thursday: Spirit of the Season—dress as your favorite holiday character
  • Friday: Ugly Christmas Sweater Day
  • Saturday: Sports Team Spirit Day—wear your favorite team jersey
  • Sunday: Seniors Night (55+)

Mark Girton, VP/GM of Empire Polo Club, highlighted the event’s significance, noting, “Every year, Magic of Lights brightens holiday spirits as guests experience this one-of-a-kind light show in the Coachella Valley. It’s a must-see on everyone’s holiday list!”

Visitors will enjoy beloved displays from the comfort of their vehicles, including Prehistoric Christmas, Winter Wonderland, the 12 Days of Christmas, and Toyland, among others. The experience includes the 200-foot Enchanting Tunnel of Lights, along with new captivating light tunnels.

Highlights of the display feature a 32-foot animated Mattel’s Waving Christmas Barbie®, life-sized dinosaurs celebrating a Prehistoric Christmas, and the iconic BIGFOOT® Monster Truck. With over two million sparkling lights, Magic of Lights offers a nostalgic holiday experience for all ages.

Guests can also explore the Holly Jolly Village, which features a variety of activities, including letter-writing stations, singing trees, and interactive holiday displays.

Magic of Lights will be open nightly from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM Sunday through Thursday and from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. Tickets are currently on sale, priced per vehicle, with a special Santa Saver price starting at $15 for a limited time.
