As of the latest vote count at 5:07 p.m. on November 11, 2024, Greg Wallis has just taken a narrow lead over Christy Holstege in the race for Assembly District 47. Wallis now has 92,611 votes, or 50.2%, while Holstege trails with 91,946 votes, or 49.8%.

This marks a shift in momentum, as Holstege had been leading in the vote count until tonight.

The final results will be certified by December 13, 2024.

The race is shaping up similarly to the 2020 election, when Wallis narrowly defeated Holstege by just 85 votes.

UPDATE:

As of November 12, 2024 at 7:20pm, Greg Wallis now has 102,414 votes 50.3% to Christy Holstege’s 101,299 49.7% separating the two by 1115 votes.
