Just when the desert gets colder, things are heating up at Michael Holmes’ Purple Room! The Valley’s favorite supper club just revealed a new slate of shows for March, April and May, 2025, adding to the Purple Room’s already exciting lineup. Audiences can look forward to daring dames, a sassy blues mama, classical-crossover virtuosos and two beloved legendary local ladies, all returning to the place The Rat Pack put on the map! The newly announced March, April and May shows include: Carole J. Bufford, dubbed the new “last of the red-hot mamas,” by The Wall Street Journal, returns to Purple Room Palm Springs on March 7 and 8 with her newest show, The Daring Dames of the Silver Screen. Expect an evening of powerhouse vocals and fascinating stories in a show that celebrates the women who put their indelible stamp on the face of American Cinema.

Purple Room Palm Springs fans have two more chances on March 9 and April 20 to catch Elvis: The Early Years starring Scot Bruce and his award-winning band with their thrilling musical journey of the early years with the King of Rock & Roll!

Described by The New York Times as a “one-of-a-kind performer who combines the sass of a classic blues mama with the skill of a Broadway star,” Lillias White is world renowned for her “glorious” voice and “slightly superhuman” ability to communicate the heart of a song. The Tony-award winner for Cy Coleman’s musical, The Life, will be at The Purple Room on March 14 and 15. Lillias most recently starred on Broadway in the musical Hadestown as Hermes and Chicago as Matron “Mama” Morton, as well as
concert halls around the world including The Kennedy Center, Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House.

The irreverent and perfectly marvelous Miss Ruta Lee presents her one-woman stage show of music and mayhem, on March 28 and 29, backed by her music trio, as she sings and journeys through her screen and television career with excerpts from her published autobiography, Consider Your Ass Kissed!

Star of film and television, her multiple roles include Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Elvis & The Beauty Queen, and The Gun Hawk. Her television credits include co hosting High Rollers with Alex Trebek, numerous co-host appearances with Regis Philbin, and many television series include Charles in Charge, Roseanne and Murder She Wrote. Jazz Legend Rose Mallett Performing at the Purple Room

Prepare to be enchanted and undone as ten-time Grammy Award-winner Cheryl Bentyne of The Manhattan Transfer returns to The Purple Room with her beguiling NEW show, Siren Song on April 4 and 5. With a setlist that includes the shadowy allure of “Angel Eyes,” the aching beauty of “So In Love,” the playful charm of “Bad, Bad Thing,” and the sultry blaze of “Put the Blame on Mame,” every note draws you deeper. And when it’s over, you’ll be wishing for more…and maybe a stronger drink.

Tony Award-winner Donna McKechnie is regarded internationally as one of Broadway’s foremost leading ladies. Among her Broadway credits include A Chorus Line, How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Promises, Promises, Company, and so many more). McKechnie returns to The Purple Room on April 11 and 12 with her highly acclaimed one-woman show, Take Me To The World: The Songs of Stephen Sondheim. Celebrating one of The Great White Way’s greatest composers, McKechnie will perform songs from many of Sondheim’s shows and film scores. In this moving and marvelous show, McKechnie shares stories of her time working with the master composer, revealing the great influence he had in her life, professionally and personally.

Take singer & songwriter Anthony Nunziata’s soulful crossover tenor voice, add the soaring melodies of romantic classics, Italian arias, and his timeless original songs, and then mix in a whole lot of off-the-cuff fun – you’ve got a ticket to see Anthony Nunziata Live in Concert on April 18 and 19. Nunziata’s tour-de-force concert includes his indelible takes on classics like “The Prayer,” “O Sole Mio,” “Ave Maria,” “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “Santa Lucia,” and much more. Anthony Nunziata’s music – and his heart – will stay with you long after you experience him live in concert. An Evening with Lucie Arnaz (April 25 and 26) is a feel-good night with some of the best stories put to music. The beloved Palm Springs local performs an eclectic mix of pop, Broadway, standards, Latin, comedy, special material and brand-new songs about love and relationships. Along with Musical Director, Ron Abel, Lucie sings Gershwin, Porter, Hamlisch and more with a fresh eye, intense passion and humor, all filtered through her own life experience. It’s an evening that will make you forget about the news and believe in love all over again!

The legendary Marilyn Maye is back for three performances only on May, 8, 9 and 10, following her rapturous, sold-out run at The Purple Room last fall and her Carnegie Hall debut at the age of 95!

The spirit of the Grand Dame herself (Miss Judy Garland) rules Purple Room Palm Springs most Sundays with the riotous and rollicking The Judy Show! The much beloved cabaret queen and laugh-out-loud funny show sells out quickly, so audiences should get their tickets without delay. New shows have been added for March 16, 23 and 30 and April 6, 13 and 27.

The exceptional regular weekly lineup of local legendary talent continues every Tuesday with jazz legend Rose Mallet. Wednesdays bring “Swinging the Music of the Rat Pack Era” with the delightful trio of Darci Daniels, Charles Herrera and Michael Holmes. And the Coachella Valley’s Ms. VaVaVOOM, Sharon Sills, makes Purple Room Palm Springs a thrilling night out on the town every Thursday.
