Hulu’s highly anticipated new original series, Mid-Century Modern, is set to premiere on March 28, 2025, bringing together a star-studded cast and a hilarious, heartwarming storyline. Inspired by the classic charm of The Golden Girls, this multi-camera comedy series is created by the brilliant minds behind Will & Grace, Max Mutchnick and David Kohan, with Ryan Murphy serving as an executive producer.

Mid-Century Modern follows three best friends—gay gentlemen of a certain age—who, after an unexpected death, decide to spend their golden years living together in the sunny desert paradise of Palm Springs. The wealthiest of the trio lives with his sharp-tongued mother, adding a delicious layer of humor and drama. As they navigate the ups and downs of their later years, these chosen family members prove that true friends will always be there to help you laugh through life’s challenges—sometimes even reminding you to get your neck done for a little rejuvenation.

The series stars comedy legends Nathan Lane as Bunny Schneiderman, Matt Bomer as Jerry Frank, Nathan Lee Graham as Arthur Broussard, and Linda Lavin as Sybil Schneiderman, Bunny’s mother. The cast is rounded out with an impressive list of guest stars, including Pamela Adlon, Vanessa Bayer, Kimberly Coles, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Judd Hirsch, Richard Kind, Billie Lourd, and more.

Created by Mutchnick and Kohan and directed by James Burrows, Mid-Century Modern promises plenty of laughs, lovable characters, and moments of touching sincerity. Produced by 20th Television, the show is bound to capture the hearts of audiences looking for a witty and inclusive comedy about friendship, aging, and family.

Make sure to tune in on March 28 to stream all ten episodes of this charming new series on Hulu!
