Palm Springs, CA
Over 100 vendors fill the main street of Palm Springs — Palm Canyon Drive — with their booths and many permanent businesses stay open late.
The event occupies over three blocks of the main street and is filled with a wide range of artists, artisans, and colorful entertainers — together with sellers of clothing, jewelry , souvenirs, fresh fruits and veggies, flowers, various edibles and sweets.
A great variety of food stands ensures that the crowds are well fed.
The dynamic event has grown over the years but it is still the place where residents bring their newly arrived visitors. Above all the event is fun and relaxed.
On leash dogs are welcome and parking is plentiful.
This is a great way to renew your visit to Palm Springs or to start orienting yourself as a first time visitor.
VillageFest is open every Thursday from 6-10 pm from October to May; and from 7-10 pm from June to September.
As a special bonus, the nearby Palm Springs Art Museum (101 Museum Drive) is free on Thursdays from 5-8 pm. A sample photo shows part of the unique glass exhibit, Meditations in Glass that runs until November 23, 2025.
