Palm Springs, CA

H3K Home+Design, the renowned Coachella Valley-based interior design firm known for its signature midcentury modern aesthetic, announced today that it will close its flagship showroom in Palm Springs following the expiration of its lease. The company will officially shutter the location at 501 S. Palm Canyon Drive on July 1, 2025.

In a video statement shared earlier today, H3K co-founders Kevin Kemper and Howard Hawkes reflected on a decade of business in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, expressing gratitude for the community’s loyal support. “We are very disappointed that we are no longer able to remain in our beautiful Palm Springs showroom,” said Kemper. “Since we have not been able to renew our lease, we decided to close the Palm Springs location and will now consolidate our retail experience into our larger Palm Desert showroom.”

As part of the transition, H3K will hold a storewide liquidation sale at the Palm Springs location, with discounts of up to 75% on furniture and décor items. The company emphasized that the Palm Desert showroom will remain open and that its curated collection is also available online at H3KHome.com.

Palm Desert Showroom

The decision to consolidate retail operations comes as H3K aims to streamline its resources and strengthen its offerings in Palm Desert. “We are still fully committed to the Coachella Valley,” added Hawkes. “We invite our loyal customers to continue shopping at our Palm Desert location where we will be ready to welcome them with fresh new arrivals, expanded displays, and the same exceptional service they know and love.”

While the Palm Springs showroom is closing, H3K Home+Design will continue to offer interior design and renovation services from an office location in Palm Springs. The firm remains active in both residential and commercial projects throughout the region.
