Palm Springs, CA

We’d heard through the grapevine—and more than a few social media posts—that Toasted was the spot for Sunday brunch in Palm Springs. And since variety really is the spice of life, we decided to give it a try. Breakfast may look simple, but anyone who’s ever tried to perfect it knows the truth: it’s an art form. At Toasted, they’ve clearly mastered the craft.

Their biscuits and gravy are the kind of dish that can win you over on the first bite. The biscuits are thick and tender, with just enough crumble, while the sausage gravy is seasoned beautifully and poured generously, blanketing each biscuit in savory comfort. The same care extends to the classics—eggs and bacon cooked exactly to order. It’s no small feat, and it speaks to the pride the kitchen takes in getting the details right.

The atmosphere hits just the right note—unpretentious but stylish, with mid-century wallpaper and Leave It to Beaver playing on the TV. It feels familiar, almost nostalgic, yet polished enough to make you want to linger.

Of course, food and atmosphere only go so far without good service, and Toasted shines here too. Marc, our server, was both kind and knowledgeable, elevating the whole experience. He suggested we try the avocado toast on our next visit—and we will absolutely be back to take him up on that.

Located near the Arena at 190 S. Indian Canyon Dr., Palm Springs, Toasted is a gem that deserves a spot on both locals’ and visitors’ lists. Their menu balances traditional breakfasts with hearty comfort sandwiches and fresh salads, making it a place you could happily return to again and again. For brunch lovers, Toasted isn’t just another option—it’s a new favorite.
