Rancho Mirage, CA
Storyliving by Disney has announced the first lineup of restaurants, retailers, and wellness studios that will open in the initial phase of Cotino Bay Beach, Dining and Shops, part of the new Cotino community in Rancho Mirage. The public town center is scheduled to open in fall 2026, offering a mix of dining, shopping, and leisure experiences, along with paid access to Cotino Bay.
A New Destination for Rancho Mirage
The first phase of the project will include Elevare, On the Mark Fine Foods & Provisions, Khaga Yoga, and the first U.S. location of Canadian coffee brand Artigiano. The development aims to bring a variety of food, retail, and wellness options to the area while expanding public access to the community.
“Our vision for Cotino Bay Beach, Dining and Shops goes beyond a new development – we’re creating a vibrant new destination the entire region can enjoy,” said Claire Bilby, senior vice president and general manager of Disney Signature Experiences Emerging Businesses. “This curated mix of shopping and dining paired with the must-visit appeal of Cotino Bay Beach really enhances the community lifestyle here by creating new opportunities for residents and visitors to experience the magic of the Cotino community.”
Located off Monterey Avenue between Gerald Ford and Frank Sinatra Drives, the first phase includes 45,000 square feet of shopping, dining, and entertainment space. Future plans call for a hotel and additional retail development.
The First Tenants
Elevare will offer refined American cuisine featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients and views of Cotino Bay and the San Jacinto Mountains. The 8,000-square-foot waterfront restaurant will be operated by Oak View Group and designed by Ignisio Studios.
Artigiano, a well-known Canadian coffee brand, is bringing its first U.S. café to Rancho Mirage. The 3,000-square-foot coffeehouse will feature the company’s signature 100% Arabica blends and a European-inspired atmosphere.
On the Mark Fine Foods & Provisions, a popular Palm Springs specialty market, will open a second location at Cotino. The shop will offer artisan goods, wines, craft beers, and made-to-order sandwiches in a 3,700-square-foot space.
Khaga Yoga will open a 2,000-square-foot studio offering classes for all levels, including family sessions, and a retail boutique with yoga accessories and essentials.
Community and Development
Envisioned by Disney Imagineers, the Cotino community combines desert design with a range of amenities and programs available through an optional Artisan Club membership. Homebuilders Shea Homes, Woodbridge Pacific Group, and Davidson Communities are constructing homes in several styles and layouts starting in the mid-$1 millions.
Community tours and model home viewings are currently available, and more details about Cotino Bay Beach, Dining and Shops are expected as the 2026 opening approaches. Additional information can be found at Cotino.com.
