Palm Desert, CA

Oakmont Senior Living and Ivy Living are once again bringing together the warmth of the holidays and the spirit of giving through their annual Holiday Bake Sale, running now through December 30.

Across more than 100 luxury senior living communities in California, Nevada, and Hawaii, executive chefs are creating a selection of homemade treats, including Roasted Pumpkin Pie, Vanilla Bean Cranberry Bundt Cake, and Dutch Apple Pie with Oatmeal Streusel. A portion of proceeds from each sale will benefit the Alzheimer’s charity chosen by each participating community.

Now celebrating its ninth year, this program blends culinary craftsmanship with community compassion. In 2024, the bake sale raised over $5,000, and this year’s goal is to double that figure. “It’s a sweet way to connect families while supporting an important cause,” said an Oakmont representative.

Orders are being accepted seven days a week through the end of the year, with pickup available every Wednesday and Friday afternoon. In the Coachella Valley, residents can participate at Oakmont’s Segovia and The Carlotta communities in Palm Desert.

Oakmont and Ivy Living continue to demonstrate how small acts—like sharing a slice of pie—can make a big difference in the lives of others.

Oakmont Management Group, based in Irvine, California, oversees both brands, serving more than 8,000 residents across three states. Each community offers personalized care in a resort-style environment designed to enhance quality of life for seniors.
