Mayor Ron deHarte will deliver the annual State of the City address on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at the Palm Springs Convention Center, inviting residents to learn about the city’s progress, priorities, and vision for the future.

This year’s theme, “Palm Springs Forward… We Can… Plan Smarter, Build Stronger,” highlights the city’s ongoing commitment to high-quality services, inclusive community values, and strategic planning for long-term growth.

The event begins at 2 p.m. with a Community Fair showcasing City Departments and local non-profits supported by the City of Palm Springs. Mayor deHarte will take the stage at 3 p.m. to outline accomplishments, discuss key initiatives, and share what lies ahead for the community. Following the address, attendees are invited to enjoy a free Community Ice Cream Social inside the Convention Center at 277 N. Avenida Caballeros.

“We Can and we are moving forward,” said Mayor deHarte. “Our path to progress is forged in working together, maintaining unwavering focus on our strategic goals, and letting the voice of our community be our compass. I invite you to join us, celebrate the power of our unity, and look ahead at what we can achieve.”

The State of the City event is free and open to the public. Residents who cannot attend in person will be able to watch the broadcast on the City’s YouTube channel and on Palm Springs Community Television.
