Palm Springs, CA
The Palm Springs Police Department has arrested two men in connection with a stabbing that occurred early Saturday morning in the downtown corridor.
On November 22, 2025, at approximately 1:51 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 200 block of South Palm Canyon Drive after a 9-1-1 caller reported an altercation. While en route, officers were notified that one person had been stabbed.
Responding officers located the primary victim, a 32-year-old man visiting Palm Springs, who had sustained multiple stab wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in stable condition.
Following the initial investigation, officers identified two suspects: 21-year-old Jasper Oneal and 28-year-old Roman Pellum. Oneal was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon under California Penal Code 245(a)(1). Pellum was arrested for Battery under California Penal Code 242. Both suspects were transported to the Riverside County Jail in Indio for booking.
