Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage announced plans for a comprehensive $60 million renovation that will fully transform all 340 guest rooms, marking a major investment aimed at elevating comfort, design, and modern luxury at the award-winning resort.

The multi-phase renovation is already underway and will introduce completely reimagined guest rooms and suites featuring contemporary design, upgraded furnishings, enhanced technology, and refined finishes inspired by the surrounding desert landscape, local culture, and the resort’s brand identity. The project represents one of the most significant capital investments in the property’s history.

“This renovation marks an exciting new chapter for Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage,” said Saverio R. Scheri, Chief Operating Officer for Agua Caliente Casinos. “Our goal is to deliver a guest experience that reflects today’s traveler while honoring the hotel’s legacy. This investment allows us to thoughtfully modernize every room while raising the standard for comfort, functionality, and design.”

According to the resort, key features of the guest room transformation include redesigned interiors with residential-inspired aesthetics, new premium bedding and custom furnishings, upgraded bathrooms with contemporary fixtures and finishes, enhanced in-room technology such as smart televisions and high-speed connectivity, and energy-efficient lighting paired with sustainability-minded materials.

Construction will be completed in phases to minimize guest disruption, with the hotel remaining fully operational throughout the renovation process.

Resort officials say the $60 million investment underscores Agua Caliente Casinos’ long-term commitment to the Coachella Valley and further strengthens the resort’s position as a leading destination for both leisure and business travelers. The renovation builds on the property’s existing recognition as a Forbes Four-Star and AAA Four Diamond resort.

Agua Caliente Casinos operate properties in Rancho Mirage, Palm Springs, and Cathedral City, collectively offering multiple entertainment venues, dining options, event spaces, and expansive gaming floors. The Rancho Mirage location features a 16-story hotel, resort-style pools and cabanas, Sunstone Spa, and additional on-site amenities.
