Terry Buckley Turbine Rodeo Returns to Coachella Valley RC Club

COACHELLA VALLEY, CA — The roar of turbine engines will once again fill the skies over the Coachella Valley as the Terry Buckley Turbine Rodeo returns December 3–5, 2026, at the Coachella Valley RC Club airfield.

After a two-year absence, the return of this turbine jet event brings together RC turbine pilots and enthusiasts for three days of flying, camaraderie, and a celebration of the skill and excitement of large-scale radio-controlled turbine aircraft.

The event honors Terry Buckley and his contributions to the RC turbine community while providing pilots and spectators an opportunity to experience some of the most impressive turbine-powered model aircraft in the sport.

Visitors can expect to see a variety of high-performance turbine jets take to the skies, meet pilots and RC enthusiasts, and enjoy the atmosphere of one of the Coachella Valley RC Club’s special aviation events.
