Those who book through hotels.com, may have noticed a commercial centered around making a hotel booking in Palm Springs.

The company which was founded in 1991 in Dallas, Texas, was known as Hotel Reservations Network, but then changed their name to Hotels.com in 2001 launching its popular website. Today, it is part of Expedia Group, a powerhouse in online travel companies.
