Palm Springs, CA

The Palm Springs Parks and Recreation Department and the members of its Parks and Recreation Commission invite local residents with a passion for pickleball to participate in the first of two special community meetings on Wednesday, Nov. 8 to learn more about the City’s upcoming Measure J capital improvement project to expand the wildly popular sport at Demuth Park.

The meeting kicks off at 5 p.m. at the Demuth Community Center, 3601 E. Mesquite Ave.

Residents will have the opportunity to meet the project design team and provide input regarding the following:

  • Court layout
  • Court amenities
  • Court rotation

“As we get ready to expand this incredibly popular sport at Demuth Park, the Parks and Recreation Commission is looking for as much community input as possible,” said Yvonne Wise, Director of Palm Springs Parks and Recreation. “Come meet your neighbors and fellow pickleball enthusiasts – and get involved. Your input is appreciated.”

Anyone with questions or comments may also send an email to pickleball@palmspringsca.gov.
