Palm Springs, CA

Delta Air Lines is expanding its footprint in the Coachella Valley with the launch of new seasonal nonstop service between Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), beginning November 8, 2025.

This marks the first time Delta will operate the Palm Springs–Austin route, offering a direct link between two of the country’s most dynamic and culturally rich destinations. The Saturday-only service will run through April 25, 2026, coinciding with Palm Springs’ busy winter travel season.

Flights will be operated on the Embraer E175 aircraft, featuring First Class, Comfort+, and Main Cabin options to cater to a variety of traveler preferences.

The flight schedule is as follows:

  • Depart Austin (AUS): 10:15 AM → Arrive Palm Springs (PSP): 11:22 AM
  • Depart Palm Springs (PSP): 12:07 PM → Arrive Austin (AUS): 5:07 PM
    (All times local)

The announcement reflects rising demand for travel to and from the Coachella Valley, according to airport officials.

“Delta continues to show its confidence in the Palm Springs market, and we’re glad to see them deepen their commitment to our destination,” said Harry Barrett, Jr., Executive Director of Aviation. “This new service to Austin builds on a solid foundation of demand, and we’re pleased to see Delta step in to bring it back.”

With the addition of Austin, Delta now offers five nonstop destinations from Palm Springs, reinforcing the airline’s growing role in connecting Southern California travelers to top national hubs.

Tickets for the new route are now available at delta.com and via the Fly Delta app.
