Cathedral City, CA — Coachella Valley Repertory (CVRep) has officially announced its 2025–2026 theatrical season, promising a dynamic lineup designed to entertain, inspire, and engage audiences throughout the Desert resort area.
The season will launch with the highly anticipated regional premiere of Dear Evan Hansen (December 3–21, 2025), the six-time Tony® Award-winning musical that became a cultural phenomenon for its poignant portrayal of identity, mental health, and human connection.
Following that, CVRep will stage the riotous British comedy One Man, Two Guvnors (January 14–February 1, 2026), an award-winning adaptation of the 18th-century classic The Servant of Two Masters that blends slapstick, music, and sharp wit.
Next on the schedule is the beloved Broadway staple Guys and Dolls (February 25–March 15, 2026), hailed as one of the greatest musical comedies of all time, filled with memorable songs, dazzling characters, and timeless charm.
Rounding out the season is the inventive and heartwarming new musical Ernest Shackleton Loves Me (April 22–May 10, 2026), a genre-bending romantic adventure that mixes historical fantasy with modern-day challenges.
CVRep’s Executive Artistic Director Adam Karsten expressed his excitement about the season:
“The generosity and graciousness of our patrons, donors, and media inspire us to plan seasons that are entertaining, intriguing, and produced with the highest standards of professionalism and creativity,” Karsten said. “Each of our four productions this season—Dear Evan Hansen; One Man, Two Guvnors; Guys and Dolls; and Ernest Shackleton Loves Me—brings something special to the stage. We look forward to sharing this season’s adventures with theatre veterans, newbies, and everyone in between. It’s all good!”
Each show will run for three weeks. Season subscriptions are available now, and single tickets will go on sale beginning August 1, 2025.
