Pride Under the Pines is back and bigger than ever as the beloved mountain Pride festival announces its 2025 lineup, featuring legendary diva Janice Robinson as this year’s headliner. The fifth annual celebration will take place Saturday, October 4, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. at its new home: the Idyllwild Town Hall (25925 Cedar St, Idyllwild Pine Cove).
A New Chapter in the Pines
This year marks an exciting new chapter for Pride Under the Pines as the event moves to the spacious Town Hall grounds, surrounded by towering pine trees and crisp mountain air. The expanded venue allows for a bigger stage, more capacity, and an enhanced experience for attendees, while continuing the festival’s tradition of bringing the LGBTQ+ community and allies together in an inclusive, family-friendly environment.
“Team Pride Under the Pines is thrilled to be bringing our event to the next level with a new location and bigger stage,” said co-founders Jeremy Taylor and Niels Kosman of Palm Springs’ PS HomeBoys. “Our pride event is more than a music festival—it’s a celebration of love, resilience, and the power of community. After five years, we remain true to our mission of providing fabulous entertainment and safe, inspiring spaces for all.”
The Entertainment Lineup
Festivalgoers can expect a full day of nonstop dance music, live performances, and drag superstar entertainment. Internationally renowned headliner Janice Robinson—best known for her hit “Dreamer” with 90s Eurodance group Livin’ Joy and her solo classic “There Must Be Love”—will light up the stage with her powerhouse vocals and undeniable presence.
“It is an honor to headline Pride Under the Pines in Idyllwild this year,” said Robinson. “To celebrate Love, Unity, and Music in such a beautiful place is pure magic, and I cannot wait to share that joy with everyone.”
Additional performances include DJ Galaxy of KGAY 106.5 Palm Springs, as well as drag superstars Jo Lopez, Aria S. Williams, and Violetta, part of Boozehounds’ Tea N’ Shade. The event’s official host, Alexander Rodriguez, will keep the energy alive with sharp wit, high-energy antics, and VIP lounge entertainment.

Pride Under the Pines has grown exponentially since its founding in 2021, attracting thousands of attendees each year. Proudly grassroots and 100% nonprofit, the festival continues without major state funding, relying on the support of its community and local sponsors.
