Palm Springs, CA

The Palm Springs Department of Parks & Recreation will host a free community celebration of creativity this weekend with its annual World Art Day Festival, inviting residents and visitors of all ages to take part in a variety of art-focused activities.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Downtown Park, located at 230 Museum Drive. Admission is free and open to the public.

Organizers say the festival will feature a wide range of attractions, including live performances, music, entertainment, interactive art projects, and live artist demonstrations. The event will also serve as a showcase for local artists and creative businesses, offering them an opportunity to connect with the community and present their work.

The World Art Day Festival is designed to encourage creativity and provide hands-on, educational experiences in an inclusive setting. Attendees are encouraged to participate in activities and explore different forms of artistic expression throughout the event.

City officials say the festival highlights the importance of the arts in building community connections while giving people of all ages a chance to engage with local talent in a welcoming outdoor environment.
