Rachel Zoe, one of the newest cast members of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, hosted an exclusive “Welcome to the Desert Zoeasis Dinner” Thursday evening at The Grand Patio in Indian Wells, bringing together a select group of guests ahead of the first weekend of the region’s major music festival.
The event was co-hosted with The Zoe Report and presented in partnership with essie. The curated evening blended fashion, music, and social connection in an intimate desert setting, offering a high-profile kickoff to festival weekend in the Coachella Valley.
Zoe opened the evening with a welcome toast, describing the gathering as a celebration of community and style under the desert sky. Cocktail hour followed, featuring custom drinks inspired by essie’s signature nail polish shades, including Marshmallow and Ballet Slippers.
Guests then transitioned to a seated patio dinner, followed by live entertainment that included a DJ set and an acoustic performance by Mojave Grey. As temperatures cooled, attendees gathered around outdoor firepits, roasting essie-branded marshmallows while enjoying a fireside acoustic set.
“Zoeasis is an intimate welcome to the desert moment where fashion, music, and community come together in a truly magical setting,” Zoe said. “There’s nothing like celebrating under the desert stars with friends to kick off such an iconic weekend.”
The evening concluded with guests receiving gift bags that included essie products and sunless tanning items from Brown Bee.
Notable attendees included Madelyn Cline, Winnie Harlow, Sara Sampaio, Sophia Culpo, Montana Tucker, Brad Mondo, Giannina Gibelli, Blake Horstmann, and Zander Bleck, among others.
Absent from the gathering was longtime “Real Housewives” cast member Kyle Richards, who owns a home in the The Madison Club in La Quinta and has frequently spent time in the Coachella Valley during major events.
Zoe’s arrival on the show comes amid evolving cast dynamics this season. She has quickly formed a friendship with fellow cast member Dorit Kemsley, while Richards and Kemsley have been portrayed as being at odds, adding another layer of attention to Zoe’s growing role within the group.
The Zoeasis dinner served as a prelude to a busy weekend expected to draw thousands of visitors to the Coachella Valley, reinforcing the area’s role as a hub for fashion, entertainment, and cultural events.
