Fans of the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City have started to get a glimpse of Palm Springs as the ladies arrive at PSP Airport during Episode 2 Season 4 of the popular reality series.
Meredith Marks books a stay at the infamous Trixie Motel owned by Drag Queen Superstar Trixie Mattel. Mary Cosby who returned to the show this season doesn’t seem to be too impressed with the motel because it doesn’t have 2003 Dom Perignon champagne. Trixie can be seen on TikTok this past week replaying the RHOSLC scene and vowing to revamp her entire drink menu immediately.
In another storyline, Meredith doesn’t invite newer Housewife, Angie Katsanevas on the girls trip because of some past drama in Season 3.
Housewife Whitney Rose and Angie’s family however have forged a strong bond. Their children are of similar ages and have developed a close friendship. During a dinner outing, Whitney turns to Angie with excitement, asking, “Are you joining us for the girls’ trip? I can’t wait!” However, a look of surprise on Angie’s face reveals she didn’t receive the invitation.
“Wait a moment,” she remarks. “I haven’t heard anything about it.”
Whitney proceeds to explain that Meredith is organizing a trip to Palm Springs for everyone – except, it seems, Angie. “Why wouldn’t you be included?” she inquires.
“That’s a valid question,” Angie replies. “I’ve been nothing but kind to Meredith… I’ve made an effort to greet her. I even supported her fashion show.” She and Shawn went as far as sending their salon team to handle all the hairstyling, which meant a loss of revenue for their own shop.
“What baffles me is that Meredith is orchestrating this trip,” Whitney observes, “with the entire purpose being to foster teamwork and strengthen bonds… How can you achieve that if you’re excluding someone?” Whitney sees it as “really negative energy.” Maybe Meredith is holding a grudge.
“I can’t say things have been smooth with Meredith,” Angie adds. “Heather didn’t invite me to her event either. I had to get the invite through Lisa… It seems like those two are trying to shut me out.”
Taking a stand, Whitney declares, “Consider this your official invitation. Will you join as my plus-one?”
“I do have a soft spot for Palm Springs, I won’t deny that,” Angie admits. Who doesn’t love Palm Springs? I’ve got some tales from my own girls’ trip, but I won’t bore you with them. “I’d be delighted to go as your guest.”
The pair arrive to the motel hours earlier than the other ladies and have one on one time with Trixie.
In the meantime, as soon as the other ladies arrive, housewife Lisa Barlow, loses her ring worth $60,000 in the public ladies room of the Palm Springs airport. The ladies go searching for it and come up empty handed. Readers can catch a glimpse of the scene here.
Heather Gay could be seen whispering urgently to the camera, “I’m holed up in the bathroom because Lisa’s completely lost it. She burst in here, pants halfway down, ranting about losing one of her rings.”
On the other side of the stall, Barlow’s voice trembled with panic, “Oh, my goodness! John [her husband] is going to flip!”
In a later clip, Barlow laments, “My ring… it’s gone. I was pulling up my jeans, and I felt it slipping off my finger. I thought I caught it, but when I looked down, my heart sank. ‘Oh, my goodness, my ring is gone.’ I stayed in that bathroom for what felt like an eternity, at least 45 minutes.” Not a good way to start a girls trip.
Throughout the episode, viewers can see glimpses of Palm Springs from the San Jacinto Mountains, Palm Springs City Hall, PSP Airport, and more…
