A new live entertainment production celebrating resilience, determination, and the enduring spirit of drag performance is coming to Oscar’s Palm Springs this May.

Titled UNSTOPPABLE, the one-night-only event will feature a cast of drag performers whose careers were interrupted by significant personal and life-altering challenges, but who are now returning to the stage in a production centered on perseverance, empowerment, and pride.

The show was created by Dan Gore in collaboration with LaWanda Jackson and is being described by organizers as both a live performance experience and a tribute to artists who overcame adversity to continue pursuing their passion.

According to organizers, many of the featured performers previously built successful careers performing on stages across the country before facing unexpected setbacks that interrupted their careers. The production aims to spotlight their return through storytelling, music, and live drag performances.

“This is deeply personal,” Gore said in a statement. “These queens built incredible careers and then faced moments that could have ended everything. But they didn’t stop. And now, they’re back—reminding all of us what it means to truly be unstoppable.”

Organizers say the evening will combine emotional storytelling with high-energy performances in a show designed to celebrate strength, survival, and community support.

Proceeds from the event will help support efforts to reunite the cast and continue creating opportunities for performers overcoming personal and professional hardships.

Oscar’s Palm Springs has become one of the Coachella Valley’s best-known venues for drag entertainment and LGBTQ+ nightlife programming, regularly hosting live performances, themed events, and nationally recognized entertainers.

UNSTOPPABLE is expected to draw local residents and visitors alike for what organizers describe as an uplifting evening centered on resilience, visibility, and celebration within the LGBTQ+ community.
