The City of Palm Springs and ONE-PS are rolling out the welcome mat for a free night of baseball, hot dogs, and hometown pride at Palm Springs Stadium on June 5.

Residents of Palm Springs are invited to lace up their sneakers and head out to the ballpark next Friday for a free evening of baseball, community spirit, and neighborhood camaraderie — all courtesy of the City of Palm Springs and the Organized Neighborhoods of Palm Springs (ONE-PS).
The annual City of Palm Springs / ONE-PS Night at the Ballpark returns on Friday, June 5, 2026, as the Palm Springs Power square off against the California Halos at Palm Springs Stadium. First pitch is set for 7:00 p.m., and admission is entirely free for Palm Springs residents and city employees.

The evening will open with a performance of the National Anthem by Cynthia Session, a ONE-PS board member and representative of the Desert Highland Gateway Estates Neighborhood.
Kris Mooney, City of Palm Springs Director of Finance and Treasurer, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Every eligible attendee will receive a bundle of complimentary goodies as part of the community celebration:
-Free hot dog & bag of chips
-Complimentary soda
-Palm Springs Power drink koozie
-Family-friendly community atmosphere
The event is sponsored by the City of Palm Springs and ONE-PS, a coalition of neighborhood organizations working to strengthen community connections across the city’s diverse residential districts. The annual ballpark night has become a beloved tradition that brings together neighbors from across Palm Springs for an evening away from the heat and into the bleachers.
Adults must bring proof of Palm Springs residency to claim free admission, while city employees need only present their employee badge. Children are admitted free — up to four per eligible adult — making this one of the summer’s most accessible family outings in the Coachella Valley.
