The world-famous Oscar Mayer Wienermobile is making a pit stop in Palm Springs this week, parking itself at Palm Springs Stadium Friday night as the Palm Springs Power take on the Inland Valley Legends.

The 27-foot-long hot dog on wheels will be on-site starting at 6 p.m. when gates open and will stay parked at the stadium throughout the game. First pitch is set for 7 p.m.

The Wienermobile’s crew will hand out giveaways, including the vehicle’s signature whistles, and fans will have the chance to snap photos with the iconic piece of Americana.

Palm Springs Stadium is also rolling out two limited-time menu items for the occasion. The American Classic features an Oscar Mayer Wiener topped with ketchup and Lay’s Potato Chips, while the Summer BBQ version comes topped with barbecue sauce and crushed Lay’s Barbecue Potato Chips.

Tickets are available at the stadium box office on gameday. Options include the All-American Ticket ($20), which comes with general admission, a hot dog, chips and a draft beer; the Power Ticket ($16), which includes general admission, a hot dog, chips, a soft drink and a commemorative koozie; adult general admission ($10); senior admission ($8); and child admission ($5).

Fans who can’t make it to the ballpark can watch the game live on the Palm Springs Power’s YouTube channel as the team continues its pursuit of a fourth consecutive championship.

The Power are a summer collegiate baseball team and a member of the California Premier Collegiate League, which they won in the league’s inaugural 2023 season. The club has claimed eleven league championships across 21 seasons of desert baseball dating back to 2004.
