The LGBTQ+-owned wine shop pours organic, biodynamic and natural wines from small producers in a relaxed setting.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Palm Springs wine drinkers can sample six wines for $10 every Saturday at hyphen- Wine Shop & Lounge, an affordable introduction to bottles from small producers that can be hard to find at conventional retailers.

Located at 1007 N. Palm Canyon Drive, (sandwiched between Grace Home and L’INDY) the shop hosts tastings from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The $10 price is available through April 2027. This January, hyphen- will mark its fifth year in Palm Springs.

Hyphen- specializes in natural, organic and biodynamic wines, with a focus on small family growers and independent winemakers. Its highly curated selections are made with minimal intervention and come from hand harvested vineyards farmed organically or biodynamically.

The tastings give customers a chance to explore different grapes, regions and winemaking styles before choosing a bottle. Six wines for $10 also makes discovery easier on the wallet than on the palate.

The shop includes a lounge and outdoor patio with mountain views, where visitors can enjoy a glass or bottle of wine.

Hyphen- also hosts occasional events centered on particular regions and winemaking traditions. Its October 26 tasting featured nine wines from Mount Etna and southern Sicily. Tickets were $75, and the event quickly sold out.

Saturday tastings run from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., with six wines for $10 through April 2027 and no reservations just pop in for a unique experience and discover your new favorite wine.
