Bed Bath & Beyond Inc. (Nasdaq: BBBY) announced Sunday that it has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.  Because of this, it is closing many of its stores across the United States as it works through its financial situation.

In the Coachella Valley, Bed Bath, & Beyond will be closing both its Palm Springs and La Quinta stores.

According to their company however, many other stores will remain open. The company stated, “360 Bed Bath & Beyond and 120 buybuy BABY stores and websites will remain open and continue serving customers as the Company begins its efforts to effectuate the closure of its retail locations.”
