Palm Springs, CA
The Palm Springs Police Department (PSPD) is investigating a stabbing and firearm assault that occurred on March 20, 2025, in the 100 block of W. Tahquitz Canyon Drive. A second juvenile victim has been identified, and a 17-year-old suspect has been arrested.
On March 20, 2025, at approximately 6:18 PM, PSPD officers responded to a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found a male juvenile suffering from non-life-threatening stab wounds.
Witnesses reported that a physical altercation occurred among several male juveniles, which began on the street level and moved into the underground parking structure. During the altercation, one victim sustained stab wounds with an unidentified edged weapon. Another suspect allegedly brandished a handgun before fleeing the scene.
A second male juvenile victim was later identified at a local hospital, where they are receiving treatment for a stab wound and are expected to recover.
Following an extensive investigation, PSPD Detectives arrested a 17-year-old male of Desert Hot Springs, CA, in connection with the stabbing of the first victim.
