Palm Springs, CA

A new Nashville-inspired country music venue is preparing to open in downtown Palm Springs, bringing live music, barbecue, and a Southern-style nightlife experience to Palm Canyon Drive.

Nashville Country Kitchen & Bar, located at 262 Palm Canyon Drive in the former Sol Agave space, has announced its grand opening celebration will take place Saturday, May 23. The owners of the new venue have operated Hunny’s in downtown Palm Springs that is now closed.

The grand opening is expected to feature live music from Kiel Rey from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., along with DJs, line dancing, and additional live entertainment throughout the event.

According to information shared on social media, the new venue plans to offer live country music seven nights a week in an immersive Nashville-inspired atmosphere. The menu includes Nashville-inspired comfort food, smoky meats, breakfast, lunch, and dinner offerings, along with a whiskey-focused bar experience.

Planned features reportedly include whiskey barrel seating, themed photo opportunities, and specialty drink presentations designed to reflect the energy of Nashville nightlife culture.

The new venue adds to the growing mix of entertainment-focused destinations along Palm Canyon Drive as downtown Palm Springs continues to expand its nightlife and dining scene.

Additional details about future performances and programming are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
