The international tea franchise is preparing a new location at 1717 E. Vista Chino, expanding the city’s selection of specialty beverage shops.

PALM SPRINGS, CA

A new bubble tea destination is scheduled to open in Palm Springs on Thursday, October 29, adding another specialty beverage option to the city’s food and drink scene.

R&B Tea is preparing to welcome customers at 1717 E. Vista Chino, according to an October 25 report from the Coachella Valley Independent.

The new franchise location is expected to offer a selection of milk teas, fruit teas, bubble tea drinks and specialty beverages. The announced menu also includes Puffle Waffles, a dessert made using a distinctive bubble-shaped waffle.

The opening represents another expansion for the international R&B Tea brand, which operates tea shops in California and other markets. The brand’s broader offerings include traditional milk teas, fresh fruit teas and other specialty drinks. Exact offerings at the new Palm Springs location may vary.

A Different Option for Palm Springs

Bubble tea, also known as boba tea, has become a popular alternative to traditional coffeehouse beverages. Many drinks feature tapioca pearls or other toppings, with customers often able to customize sweetness, ice levels and flavor combinations.

The new location provides another option for residents near the Vista Chino commercial corridor as Palm Springs approaches its busy winter visitor season.

The Palm Springs shop’s full menu, prices and regular operating hours have not yet been independently confirmed. Customers interested in visiting should check the location’s social media account for opening-day updates and any promotional offers.
