PALM SPRINGS, CA
Bird, a new café from F10 Hospitality, has opened at 211 E. Palm Canyon Drive, Suite C, adding another daytime dining option in south Palm Springs.
The café marked its first official day on September 26 following several days of soft-opening service. Its current website lists daily hours of 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Bird joins the hospitality group founded by Palm Springs native Tara Lazar, whose businesses include Cheeky’s, Birba, Mr. Lyons and Seymour’s. F10 began with the opening of Cheeky’s in 2008.
The café’s coffee program features Onyx Coffee Lab. Its published beverage menu includes drip coffee, espresso, cappuccino, cortado, flat white and cold brew, along with matcha, chai and several teas. Listed prices include $4 for drip coffee, $6 for a cappuccino and $6.25 for a latte.

Food offerings listed on Bird’s online ordering page include butter croissants, chocolate babka, cheddar scallion scones, monkey bread and egg bites. The menu also extends into lunch, with sandwiches and salads such as a ham, cheese and mustard baguette, chicken salad sandwich and quinoa salad. Availability may vary.
The space incorporates indoor seating and an outdoor patio near a prominent red bird mural. Palm Springs Bites reported that the café occupies the front of a building also used for F10’s offices and commissary, with those operations continuing in the back. The publication also reported that Bird’s name comes from Lazar’s mother’s nickname.
Bird was introduced as a café and wine-bar concept. Wine selections appear on its online ordering menu, although the business’s currently posted hours remain daytime only. Earlier reporting described plans to expand the wine program as the café developed.
Bird is located at 211 E. Palm Canyon Drive, Suite C, Palm Springs. Information is available at birdf10.com or by calling 760-422-5171.
